July 4th Celebration in Lake Park
Celebrate July 4th at Lake Park with lots of great family fun and fireworks. Dress your bikes, join the boy and girl games, enjoy a summery ice cream treat and just enjoy visiting with your neighbors. The Parade will start at 9:00 am UWM Student Union (Maryland Ave. and Kenwood Blvd.) and from Maryland Avenue School (Prospect and Bradford Ave.) and progress down E. Newberry Blvd. to Lake Park where all can join in the ice cream social.
Other activities include the Boys and Girls games (10 am), Doll Buggy, Trike and Coaster Parade (11 am), AWE children’s art project (11:00 am) and the decorated bicycle parade (11:30 am). Fireworks are schedule in the evening around 9:15 pm
