COVID-19 Town Hall Meeting and Vaccination Information

Sharing this information from Alderman Kovac:

Dear Neighbor:

Please join us for a virtual town hall meeting this coming Wednesday (February 10), addressing questions, concerns, and plans regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.

It’s important for the community to take advantage of opportunities to receive reliable information on the COVID-19 vaccination process, and medical professionals and public health officials will be available at the town hall meeting to provide residents with the facts and updates they need to make the best decisions for themselves and their family members.

Panelists will include Interim Health Commissioner Marlaina Jackson and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Heather Paradis of the City of Milwaukee Health Department. Milwaukee Board of Health member Julia Means, a registered nurse at Ascension Health, will also join the panel along with Mayor Tom Barrett. WTMJ4’s Tony Atkins will moderate the discussion.

The virtual town hall meeting will take place at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 10 and residents may register for this event at:

For those 65+ who are interested in signing up to receive the vaccine:

  • If you have no internet access please call 414-286-8600
  • For those with internet access: please follow this link to register https://city.milwaukee.gov/CoronavirusResources/Covid19-Vaccination
  • NOTE: Appointments are based on availability of supplies. MHD anticipates that the slots will get filled quickly. This is expected, and we understand there will be frustration with lack of appointment availability. ***This is a supply issue, not an MHD issue***
