Conserving Pollinators Talk – Sunday, Feb 28

We have all heard of the disappearance  of bees and  butterflies   from our fields and gardens.  What are the causes of this environmental problem? What, if anything, can be done to save these and other important pollinators –  and the plants they depend on?

Dr. Jeffrey Karron, UWM Associate Professor of Biology, will discuss “Strategies for Conserving Native Pollinators in a Changing World” on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lake Park Pavilion Marcia Coles Community Room . The talk is free. For further information, call Lake Park Friends at 962-1680.
