Hello Members and Residents!
MHNA’s membership meeting and dinner returns Thursday, September 24.
This month, meet representatives from UWM
and District 1 Milwaukee Police.
Thursday, September 24 | Plymouth Church
We are excited to be joined by several representatives from UWM at our member meeting on Thursday September 24th at 6:15pm. We will be joined by Colleen Ference-Burke (Public Records Custodian and Murray Hill Neighborhood Liaison), Brian Switala (UWMPD Chief), and Jen Francis (Director of Campus Planning) to discuss the university’s priorities for the new academic year, off campus student expectations, public facing campus events, and community/university engagement.
1st District MPD Captain Robert Thiel will also be joining us and will hopefully be introducing our new Community Liaison Officer Parker Popp, who has taken over Officer Fidah Mustaf’s CLO position. Officer Mustafa has a new position within MPD.
Please RSVP for Dinner by Tuesday, September 22.
Everyone is welcome. You can attend the meeting without having dinner.
We’re warming up to fall with a member dinner winner: Enchiladas with rice, beans, and all the fixings prepared by our chef in residence, MHNA Director Steve Klebar!
Come early to meet and visit with your neighbors and dine before the 7:00 p.m. meeting begins. Feel free to bring a dessert to share.
Dinner starts at 6:15 p.m. and our meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.
Please RSVP to attend dinner by Tuesday, September 22, to allow us to accurately plan the meal.
Virtual Meeting Option
We encourage everybody to join our meetings in person. If you are unable to attend in person, you can join via Zoom by registering for the meeting here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
We look forward to seeing everyone!
