- Business Spotlight: Mike Allen, owner of Beerline Cafe (2076 North Commerce) will join us to share information about this Riverwest vegetarian/vegan breakfast/lunch cafe, open since September 2015. The restaurant has many positive environmental features and is one of only a few 4-star certified green restaurants in the U.S. (learn more about the Green Restaurant Association). - Crime and Safety Updates from MPD District 1: Officers Jordan Emmons (CLO) and Molly Plumley (CPU), ADA Kelly Hedge
- Feature Presentation: Liz Sutton, Manager of the Outreach Program of UWM’s School of Freshwater Sciences, will discuss the School’s ongoing research activities, especially related to public health concerns (i.e. wastewater testing for Covid-19 variants) and plastic pollution.
