Adopt-a-Block
Hello Murray Hill Neighbors,
We’ve gotten good response to our announcement regarding the adopt-a-block program; thanks to those of you who are already on board. Now we’re about to place our order for trash grabbers, so if you’ve been meaning to join the ranks, you have about a week to do so.
Remember, adopt-a-block works like this:
– You decide which block(s) you’ll commit to keeping tidy.
– Contact Cate Deicher (catexd2002@yahoo.com) to let her know – your name and block number(s).
– MHNA will place an order for long handled trash grabbers (for picking up light trash and litter, and Cate will contact you when they arrive.
There is no cost to you, only the benefits of getting a little fresh air and enjoying a tidier neighborhood!
