Celebrate Independence Day with family, neighbors and friends!

The Lake Park 4th of July celebration is the oldest in the city—dating to 1911!
There will be ice cream and a flag-raising ceremony. The parade begins at 9 am!

Please Note: New Parade Route Along Newberry Boulevard

One portion of the parade route will begin at East. Newberry Boulevard, east of Oakland Avenue (across from Riverside Park). This part of the parade previously began at Hartford Avenue School. The route change avoids street closures and is a more direct route.

The other leg of the parade will begin at East Bradford and North Prospect Avenues, as always. The two parades will merge and march into Lake Park.
