September MHNA Meeting is on Tuesday

We have a great meeting planned for you this Tuesday, September 22 at 7 PM at the Urban Ecology Center!

First, we’ll have announcements from organizers about two upcoming athletic events:  the Panther Prowl on Saturday, October 10 and the inaugural Milwaukee Running Festival on October 30 – November 1.

Next, we’ll hear updates from two local business improvement districts (BIDs).  Michael DeMichele, president of the Downer Avenue BID, will give us an update on Downer Avenue news while Jim Plaisted, executive director of the East Side BID (North Avenue), will speak about North Avenue events and updates.

Finally, MPD District 1 Liaison Office Thomas Kline will join us for a reminder about the new procedures for calling for police service as well as an update on police activity in September.
