Maryland Montessori School Community Meeting: RESCHEDULED

The Maryland Montessori School Community Meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 6 at 6:00 PM in the MAM gym, due to the potential snowstorm on Tuesday.  Please see original meeting description below:

Due to low attrition and high demand for the Montessori Program at Maryland Avenue Montessori School (MAM), there are immediate and long-term space needs for more classroom space to accommodate the school community. While there will be no program changes to MAM for fall 2013, possible long-term solutions being considered include (1) expansion of the existing Maryland Avenue Montessori facility; or (2) relocating the MAM school community to the Cass Street School facility.

On Wednesday, March 6 at 6:00 PM in the MAM gym there will be a community meeting with MPS district administration and school board director Larry Miller to get input from the MAM community on the space needs issues and solutions.

Maryland Avenue Montessori School is part of the fabric of our east side community and the outcome of this decision has the potential to greatly impact all of our neighborhoods.
