Unused Medicine Drop Off
There is an easy way to get rid of the unwa
nted, unused, or expired prescription drugs, ointments and medicines that you’ve been collecting all these years. It’s a great feeling to get them out of the house and disposed of properly.
Just empty the containers into a ziplock bag (leave ointments and other liquids in their own containers ) and drop them off into the red receptacles located in the lobby of any District Police Office (except District 1) and throw the empty pill bottles into your recycling cart.
The closest one to Murray Hill is at Police District #5 on 4th and Locust. They are open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
