This week at Lake Park… | Murray Hill Neighborhood Association

Lake Park Friends Musical Mondays and Wonderful Wednesdays is a series of concerts geared for children and their families. These concerts are FREE and open to the public. These enjoyable concerts are presented in cooperation with Milwaukee County Parks, with a generous donation from the Coles Family Foundation.

All concerts take place at the new Lake Park Summer Stage, just south of the playground and tennis courts.

Musical Mondays – July 7th: Stained Glass Brass 6:30-8:00 pm

Five of the Midwest’s finest bass players will be performing jewel-toned quintet repertoire from the majestic past to the ultra-modern.

Wonderful Wednesday – July 9th: The Cash Box Kings – 6:30-7:30 pm

This authentic Chicago blues band is a regular headliner at the windy city’s greatest blues establishment, and they bring the classics by Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters, along with their own material, to our young audiences for a show that is fast and fun!
