The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works Project Clean & Green moves into its seventh week next week.

Zone 7 Neighbors: Your Project Clean & Green week is May 26-June 1.  Residents in Zone 7 can set out your unwanted furniture, mattresses, household items, and more at your regular garbage collection point (curb or alley) on your regular garbage collection day during this week.  DPW will pick up your extra items free of charge.

Note to all City residents: There will be no garbage or recycling collections on Monday, May 25 – Memorial Day. Please see the attached release regarding DPW services over the Memorial Day weekend.

Zone 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 Neighbors: If you missed your Project Clean & Green pick-up date these past six weeks, you can take your unwanted items to a Self-Help Center (free), or call 286-CITY to request a bulky item pick-up for a fee.

Again, please consult the attached release for more information on Self-Help Center hours of operation over the Memorial Day weekend.
