Support the East Side Green Market — Every Summer Saturday!

One of the original founding projects of the East Side BID (1998) was to return a Green Market to the neighborhood. From early 1900’s to 1975, the triangle property at Beans and Barley hosted one of Milwaukee’s thriving green markets. The founding board of directors was determined to work diligently to return it to our neighborhood and are proud that after 15 years they are still hosting it and now in a new location – next to the new East Library on Cramer Street and North Avenue.

Let’s show our neighborhood support of these fine growers, craftspeople, and foodies who work so hard to create something healthy and vibrant for our community. As we often talk about what North Ave. businesses should offer inside their properties, it doesn’t get much better than a Green Market right in your neighborhood each and every Summer Saturday.
