CHANGE OF VENUE: Special August MHNA Meeting at Marcia Coles Community Room

Its back-to-school time in Murray Hill, which means it’s getting busier on campus and in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, along with this uptick in activity, residents have historically experienced an increase in nuisance noise, vandalism, and other negative impacts to our community. For this special August General Membership Meeting, we’ve invited representatives from UWM, MPD, and the City of Milwaukee to present their plans to ensure a smooth transition into the new school year.

So please mark your calendar and plan to attend this important meeting (and note the different location and time! We will return to the Urban Ecology Center in September)

What: Murray Hill Neighborhood Association – August General Membership Meeting

When: Tuesday, August 25 @ 6:00 PM

Where: Marcia Coles Community Room at Lake Park (3133 E Newberry Blvd – Beneath Lake Park Bistro)

Who: Confirmed speakers include:

  • MPD 1st District Captain Leslie Thiele
  • UWM Dean of Students Tim Gordon
  • UWM Police Chief Joseph LeMire
  • Representatives from UWM University Relations, Alderman Kovac’s office, the City Attorney’s office, and the Milwaukee Department of Neighborhood Services
