We hope you have all been having a good summer. Please plan to virtually attend our upcoming Murray Hill Neighborhood Association meeting on Thursday August 26 at 7PM via Zoom videoconferencing. Our main topic will be “back-to-campus” and our guests will include representatives from UWM and MPD, including:
UWM Dean of Students Adam Jussel
UWM Police Chief Brian Switala
UWM Neighborhood Housing & Relations Manager Alyssa Conrardy
MPD District 1 Community Liaison Officer Carlos Felix
Amanda Cervantes from Alderman Kovac’s office
Discussion will center around updates to these agencies’ plans for addressing noise nuisance activity as students arrive back at campus, and how neighbors can play a positive role in the process.
Additionally Julie Barnes will introduce her new East Side business, Dogtopia (2219 N Farwell) and MPD District 1 Community Liaison Officer Carlos Felix will review recent crime trends in our area.
