Our Guest Speakers this month will be our annual UWM / MPD panel presentation and discussion:
UWM Representatives
UWM representatives will update us on ongoing campus construction projects, upcoming events, student orientation and the fall grant program, as well as offer a great opportunity for neighbors to ask questions or voice their concerns as another new school year begins.
UWM guest speakers will include: Police Chief Brian Switala, Jen Francis (Director of Campus Planning), Colleen Ference-Burke (UWM Liaison), and a representative from the Dean of Students Office.
Milwaukee Police Department District 1 Captain
District 1 Captain Robert Thiel will join us to provide neighborhood crime and safety updates as well as information on specific issues the police are currently working on in Murray Hill and on the east side.
Bring your questions and concerns as this is the one time during the year the UWM and MPD representatives will be on hand together to discuss important issues with MHNA members and residents!
Virtual Meeting Option
If you are unable to join us in person, please feel free to join via Zoom by registering for the meeting here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
