Join Us for Our April 2025 Membership Dinner and Meeting!

Day:  Thursday, April 24, 2025
Time:  6:15 p.m. Dinner; 7:00 p.m. Meeting
Place: Plymouth Church, 2717 E. Hampshire Street

This month, we will be serving an Asian stir fry with rice and fortune cookies as a special treat!

Dinner starts at 6:15 p.m., so come early to meet your neighbors and dine before the 7:00 p.m. meeting. Feel free to bring a dessert to share.

Please RSVP to attend dinner here no later than Tuesday, April 24 to allow us to plan the meal.

To Celebrate Earth Week, Our Guest Speakers This Month Are:

Plastic Free MKE

Gabrielle de Gail, Volunteer Coordinator of Plastic-Free MKE and AmeriCorps Member serving with Milwaukee Riverkeeper, will discuss Plastic-Free MKE’s mission to reduce the harms that unnecessary plastics have on environmental and public health.Gabrielle will provide details of ongoing programs as well as ideas for what individuals can do to help.

Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District

Jazmin Muro will be our speaker from MMSD. Jazmin is a Fresh Coast Guardian Intern at MMSD. Her primary responsibilities include installing rain barrels and rain gardens throughout the city of Milwaukee and in select suburbs.

Jazmin is knowledgeable about Green Infrastructure and what residents can do at home to help alleviate problems that contribute to pollution or flooding of our neighborhoods and local waterways.
