Join Us for Our October 2023 Membership Dinner and Meeting!

Our next member meeting will take place on Thursday, October 26, at Plymouth Church. This month, we’ll be serving a home-cooked Mexican dinner, including enchiladas, rice, beans, and salad!

Please RSVP to attend dinner here by Wednesday, October 25, to allow us to plan the meal.

Dinner starts at 6:15, so come early to meet your neighbors and dine before the 7:00 meeting. Feel free to bring a dessert to share.

Milwaukee Police Department
Our 1st District MPD community liaisons will provide a brief report on this year’s grant period and the beginning of the academic year at UWM.

Alderperson Jonathan Brostoff
Alderperson Brostoff will then be available to update us on City of Milwaukee news and answer our questions on issues and concerns relevant to the Murray Hill neighborhood and our larger community.

Business Spotlight
Melissa Meier, Executive Director of Eastside Senior Services, will give a brief update on Neighbors Helping Neighbors as well as introduce a new part of the program called “Corner Keepers,” a plan for volunteers to help keep sidewalks and corners clear of snow and ice.

MHNA Board Elections
The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association Board elections will take place during the October member meeting. The association has a nine-member board of directors. We currently have three director positions up for reelection including Vice President, Treasurer, and Director 1. All current directors have agreed to continue serving on the Board and are running for reelection.
