Murray Hill Meeting – Tuesday!

Dear Murray Hill Members:  Happy Memorial Day, I hope you are enjoying this somewhat wet and dreary Memorial Day and that it will clear up later to give us some time outdoors.

More importantly though, I hope you will join us tomorrow night at the Urban Ecology Center to greet Supervisor Gerry Broderick.  Needless to say the County government has been going through lots of issues since we last saw Gerry and currently the big question is how much is the County expected to contribute to the proposed Bucks Arena?  For that matter, what happened to the question “Should the County contribute to the arena?”

Finances, leadership, citizen responsiveness, state and city interaction, and what is the future direction and goals for the County Board, are all valid topics to be heard.

We will also be discussing new developments in the neighborhood including efforts by the MHNA board to define what is a restaurant versus a bar for North Ave. and what our Working Groups are up to.

So do join us at 7:00 pm at the UEC, 1500 E. Park Place, hearing what’s new and sharing whats on your mind.
