Milwaukee Pedestrian Plan (Rescheduled) Open House
Milwaukee Pedestrian Plan (Rescheduled) Open House
The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works (DPW) and its partners will host a public open house meeting on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, for residents to learn more about Milwaukee’s first citywide pedestrian plan. The plan will detail how the City will work to make walking more accessible, safer, and enjoyable in Milwaukee. Attendees will have the opportunity to review the plan, provide feedback on draft recommendations, and participate in an interactive street design activity.
Please see the attached flyer for more information.
DPW is also seeking photo submissions from residents to use in the final pedestrian plan. Photos should be taken within the City of Milwaukee and show people walking, a favorite street, people using the sidewalk for play or other activities, and anything else that depicts vibrant street life. For more information and to submit a photo, visit: city.milwaukee.gov/pedplanphoto/.
