MHNA Meeting Announcement: Tuesday, Jan. 28

Dear Murray Hill Members:

Welcome to 2014 and MHNA’s winter-spring series of monthly meetings and speakers. Please come out Tuesday night and welcome Jerry Patzwald of S & H Brands to hear about the alcohol distributor side of one of the biggest aspects that affects and defines the neighborhood. Jerry like many businesses in the area makes his living on the sales and distribution of alcohol, he fully understands the negative impact this has on the neighborhood with so many young adults, being a upper Eastside resident himself, and will speak to the on-going concerns and challenges of the business community as they try to run their businesses as responsibly as possible.

We will also be keeping you appraised of critical changes in trash collection, neighborhood businesses,city development, and we may be getting a quick introduction to candidates for State Representative.

As usual, we will be at the Urban Ecology Center, 1500 E. Park Place, starting at 7:00 pm and wrapping up before 9:00.

I also want to remind you of the Town Hall meeting on Monday, February 3rd at the Urban Ecology Center from 5:00 to 7:00 with Alderman Nik Kovac, Representative Jon Richards and Senator Chris Larson.
