MHNA January Meeting – Tues, Jan 27

Dear Murray Hill Members:

We hope you had a good holiday season, but it is time to get together again and hear about news of the neighborhood and the city you live in.

Join us this Tuesday as we meet David Russick, Chief Exhibit Designer with the Milwaukee Art Museum.  Have you ever wondered what goes into an exhibit making sure that the flow and presentation makes sense and helps support the curator’s planning?  It is David’s job to make sure that your visit to the museum is as informative and enjoyable as possible.  At this time he is charged with the task of re-designing the entire museum, so that when the new eastern addition is done visitors can see the permanent collection in a more cohesive and natural flow from one end to the other.

We will also have updates on on efforts to work with UWM and Milwaukee Police Department to make sure that our quality of life is as we want it to be.

As usual we meet at the Urban Ecology Center, 1500 E. Park Place, at 7:00 pm.  I look forward to seeing you there and hearing about a part of our cultural life that few people know about.
