for Our February Membership Dinner and Meeting!

Day:  Thursday, February, 2023
Time:  6:15 PM Dinner; 7:00 PM Meeting
Place: Plymouth Church, 2717 E. Hampshire St.

Let’s get together to share a home cooked Mexican dinner.

We’ll be serving enchiladas, beans, rice, lettuce and other fixins. If anyone would care to bring a dessert, that’s always welcome. We will begin serving at 6:15, so come early to meet your neighbors and dine before the 7:00 meeting.

Please RSVP to attend here by Tuesday, February 21, to allow us to plan the meal.

Milwaukee MPD District 1 Report

District 1 Officer Molly Plumley and Assistant District Attorney Dax Odom will provide updates on current crime trends in our area, and Officer Plumley will offer additional information on the concept of “Community Policing” and how it could impact the quality of life in our neighborhood.

Business Spotlight:

Katy McHugh, owner of the Sip & Purr Cat Cafe, will tell us about her unique east side establishment, Milwaukee’s first cat cafe (opened in June of 2018 at 2021 East Ivanhoe Place).

Guest Speakers:

County Supervisor Sheldon Wasserman and Alderman Jonathan Brostoff will join us to discuss ongoing county and city issues—this will be a great opportunity to ask questions, express your concerns and get direct feedback from your local representatives.
