May Murray Hill Meeting – Thursday, May 27

We hope you can join us for our May meeting, which will be held virtually via Zoom this Thursday, May 27 at 7PM. Our guests will include:
- MPD District 1 representatives – Sergeant Sadowski, Community Liaison Officer Carlos Felix, and Assistant District Attorney Kelly Hedge
- Chris Cantwell, assistant professor of public and digital history at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Chris has a background in museums and the study of religion. He is also a resident of the Murray Hill neighborhood. At our meeting Thursday, Chris will talk about a project run by UWM’s history department called COVID-19 MKE (https://uwm.edu/
covid19mkearchive), which is a crowd-sourced archive of how Milwaukee experienced the coronavirus pandemic. He will also discuss other community-engaged history projects developed by UWM’s public history program.
