Happy Springtime Murray Members and Friends!

Come hear Senator Chris Larson and Representative Jonathan Brostoff discuss actions at the State Capitol at our May meeting, Tuesday May 23 at 7:00 pm. With the budget still taking up the bulk of the legislature’s time and efforts hear first-hand what is at stake and have your feelings heard.

As an appetizer, we will have Officer Kline from the 1st District on hand to tell us about the latest crime and safety issues affecting the neighborhood, and to report on the police response to the closing of UWM’s school year.

Dessert will comprise of a brief update on changes of businesses in the neighborhood, neighborhood activities, and news of UWM that affects you.

As always, MHNA monthly membership meetings are open to all, even if you don’t live in the neighborhood, you just need to love and be interested in the activities of the Upper Eastside.  Meetings are held at the Urban Ecology Center, 1500 E. Park Place.
