Lake Park Wonderful Wednesdays – Free Concerts for Kids and Families

Lake Park Friends Wonderful Wednesdays is a series of seven summer concerts geared for children and their families. These concerts are presented from June 24th through August 5th and are FREE and open to the public.

This Weeks Concert is “Ms. Jen and the Jellyfish” – Wednesday, June 24 @ 6:30–7:30 pm

Ms. Jen will have audiences up and moving to the “kindie rock” musical stylings of the Jellyfish, featuring songs and teachers from the Music of Aardvarks-Milwaukee.

All concerts take place at the Lake Park Summer Stage, just south of the playground and tennis courts. Concerts will go on, rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move indoors to the Marcia Coles Community Room, which is in the lower level of the Lake Park Pavilion, beneath the Lake Park Bistro Restaurant (3133 E. Newberry Blvd.).

These enjoyable concerts are presented by the Lake Park Friends in cooperation with Milwaukee County Parks, and with a generous donation from the Coles Family Foundation.  More information is available here: http://www.lakeparkfriends.org/
