Lake Park Music this Week!
Lake Park Friends Musical Mondays and Wonderful Wednesdays is a series of concerts geared for children and their families. These concerts are FREE and open to the public. All concerts take place at the new Lake Park Summer Stage, just south of the playground and tennis courts.
Musical Mondays – July 14th – Today – Madison Marimba Quartet 6:30- 8 pm
With magical mallets, this amazing foursome returns to astound us again with their impeccable ensemble and arrangements of standard, stolen and borrowed repertoire.
Wonderful Wednesday – July 16th Cowboy Randy Erwin – 6:30-7:30 pm
Get ready for cowboy music, American Folklore, and real rope tricks! Cowboy Randy also teaches his young audience about the history of the Wild West, the animals of the plains and deserts, and what life was like for American Cowboys. Wear your cowboy hat and boots and get ready to live the cowboy life!
These enjoyable concerts are presented in cooperation with Milwaukee County Parks, with a generous donation from the Coles Family Foundation.
