Reminder: Community Meeting TODAY regarding fencing the track in Riverside Park

From MHNA on July 9: There is a proposal on the table to fence off the track in Riverside Park behind the high school. Ms. Gina Spang from MPS has organized a meeting for neighborhood residents to discuss their concerns. The meeting is to be held at the Urban Ecology Center at 5:30PM on Wednesday, July 17th. If you are concerned about this matter, please plan to attend the meeting.

From Alderman Kovak on July 11: A community meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17 at the Urban Ecology Center (1500 E. Park Pl.) to discuss the proposed fencing options for the new track at Riverside University High School. The meeting – held in collaboration with the Urban Ecology Center and MPS – will directly address concerns with vehicle traffic in the park, and we are seeking a solution that best addresses this concern. We are interested in your comments and concerns regarding the fencing, so please join us for this discussion.
