Chili and Chickadees

This notice went out previously without a date. According to the Lake Park Friends web site it will take place on Saturday, December 19th. Apologies for the confusion.

Lake Park Friends will present “Chili and Chickadees”, our participation in the annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count.

We will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the Lake Park Warming House, 2975 N. Lake Drive. and walk through the park counting all the birds we see or hear.

After the count, we will return to the Warming House for bowls of chili and other warm drinks and treats.

No experience necessary.  Just bring binoculars if you have them.

Free and open to the public.
