Wild Turkeys in the Neighborhood
Seven wild turkeys have taken up residence around the neighborhood for several months now. They have found plenty of food by eating the berries off the shrubs and trees or just finding easy pickings of feed from backyard feeders. Reminder: Monday begins garbage collection set-out program
Beginning Monday, January 27, the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works will begin its year-round garbage cart set-out program. Residents with curb garbage collection must place their garbage carts at the curb on their designated collection day by 7:00 a.m. just as they do in spring, summer and fall.
