Free Tree Give Away – This Saturday
The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works Forestry Division is partnering with Energy Exchange Inc. to give away 1,000 free trees to City of Milwaukee residents and business/commercial property owners this Saturday (June 28) from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the corner of S. 6th St. and Waterford Ave. You can reserve your tree(s) by filling out the form available here. Reminder: Monday begins garbage collection set-out program
Beginning Monday, January 27, the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works will begin its year-round garbage cart set-out program. Residents with curb garbage collection must place their garbage carts at the curb on their designated collection day by 7:00 a.m. just as they do in spring, summer and fall. Snow Shoveling Note from the City

Winter Schedule for Garbage Collection Begins Monday
The Department of Public Works (DPW) will start its winter schedule for collecting garbage and recycling materials on Monday, December 2. Collection routes and days will change for many City residents. The winter schedule will remain in effect through April 4, 2014.
