Porch Fest 2025 kicks off Saturday, June 21, featuring the
Chris Hanson Band with Robin Pluer.

Enjoy a summer afternoon of music, community and friendship on the 2000 block of Newberry Boulevard in Murray Hill between Murray and Frederick Avenues.

The Newberry block island will be barricaded from traffic before and after the show for socializing. Bring blankets, chairs, coolers/refreshments, and settle in for an enjoyable summer afternoon of great music with neighbors, family and friends!

The Chris Hanson Band has been a Milwaukee treasure for many years bringing music lovers together to enjoy Jazz, Swing, Blues, Country and Rockabilly. The band has performed at many Milwaukee East side venues including The Astor Hotel, Bastille Days and Summerfest.

Band members include: Robin Pluer, vocals; Glenn Asch, violin; John Parrott, guitar and vocals; John Babbitt, bass, and Chris Hanson, guitar and vocals.

For many Murray Hill residents, these musicians need no introduction.
