A Successful Egg Hunt!
A bright, sunny Saturday morning, plenty of hidden plastic and colored eggs, many excited egg-hunters from small toddlers to seasoned kids, parents visiting with other parents and their neighbors, and a special drop-in visit by Mr. Bunny led to a successful egg hunt this past weekend (April 19, 2014) at Riverside Park. Many photos were taken with Mr. Bunny and participants were given special ceramic glazed eggs made by Murray Hill Pottery Works at the end of the hunt. The efficient hunters found the hidden eggs in less than 15 minutes but many parents and children stayed around much longer to visit and play in the various swings, slides, merry-go-round and climbing rope gym at the park. All had a wonderful morning! Visit our gallery to see photos of the event.
Thanks to the many volunteers who colored and helped to hide the eggs and Murray Hill Neighborhood Association, Murray Hill Pottery Works, Walgreens and the Upper Eastside Businesses for sponsoring the 10th Annual Eggs-travaganza.
