East Side Neighborhood Associations to Host Wisconsin Assembly 19th District Primary Election Candidate Forum

In the race for Madison’s State Assembly 19th District, incumbent Ryan Clancy faces challenger Bridget Maniaci in an upcoming primary election on Monday, July 20, 2026.

The forum will provide voters with the opportunity to learn more about the candidates running for the State Assembly seat and where they stand on the issues important to voters in the district.
The in-person forum will run for approximately 90 minutes. Pre-selected questions will be presented to each candidate by moderator Jeramey Jannene, President, Urban Milwaukee, with candidates having timed responses. Only the candidates and the moderator can speak during the event. There will be an opportunity to meet the candidates after the forum concludes.
About the State Assembly 19th District
The district is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. It is located entirely within the city of Milwaukee covering downtown and much of Milwaukee’s Lake Michigan coastline. It contains much of Downtown Milwaukee, the Historic Third Ward, the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee campus on the north, a portion of Bay View to the south, and the Jackson street and Garfield Avenue corridors to the West. The 19th Assembly district is located within Wisconsin’s 7th Senate district.
