Newberry Pedestrian Safety Survey
The Newberry Traffic and Safety Committee of the Murray Hill Neighborhood Association formed after the September 2020 MHNA meeting that featured Alderman Kovac and Scott Reinbacher from the Milwaukee Department of Public Works. At present, the Committee is focused specifically on pedestrian safety along Newberry, especially at key intersections in the MHNA neighborhood. REMINDER: City’s Project Clean & Green is this week!
PROJECT CLEAN & GREEN is a city-wide program designed to foster neighborhood pride and ownership through coordinated clean-up. Project Clean & Green on the East Side starts this week May 17-May 21. On your normal garbage day, City collection crews will collect up to six (6) cubic yards per dwelling unit of unwanted furniture, mattresses, or household items and garden/yard debris in paper yard waste bags.
