Milwaukee Pedestrian Plan | Open House | January 30, 4:30 – 7:30 PM

Milwaukee Pedestrian Plan

Passing this on from the City.

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is developing Milwaukee’s first citywide pedestrian plan! Join DPW and its partners for an Open House meeting on Wednesday, January 30, 4:30 – 7:30 PM at the Mitchell Street Public Library (906 W. Historic Mitchell St).

The Open House is one way to provide feedback on draft recommendations from the plan and share your thoughts with City staff in the coming weeks. There will also be an interactive street design activity to try out some pedestrian safety tools from the plan.
We also need YOUR pictures for the plan! Please share photos of people walking, your favorite place to walk, and other examples of vibrant streets in Milwaukee by clicking here: https://city.milwaukee.gov/PedPlan
Please help spread the word and share the attached flyer with your friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else you think might be interested. A press release and social media post will also be available soon.
We appreciate your help in making walking more accessible, safer, and enjoyable in Milwaukee. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. We hope to see you there!
