Hunger Cleanup – Sat, April 12, 8AM – 1:30PM
Spend the morning volunteering in the Annual UWM Hunger Clean-Up!
Neighbors can join the hundreds of members of the UWM campus community in the Annual Hunger Clean-up on Saturday, April 12, 2014. This is a one-day service event where students, faculty, staff and community volunteers help at local non-profits and aid local elderly residents by doing tasks such as taking out storm windows, raking leaves and clearing garden beds. Volunteers will also do a neighborhood clean-up around campus. Free lunch is provided after the event as a thank you. Meet in the Spaights Plaza located just outside the Union Food Court on the campus level at 2380 E. Kenwood Blvd. at 8:30 am.
