October Murray Hill Meeting
Neighbors,
We hope you can join us for out October membership meeting, which will be on Tuesday, October 23 at 7PM at the Urban Ecology Center – Riverside Park branch, 1500 E Park Place.
Our main speaker will be Bonnie Halvorsen, Campus Farm Partnerships Manager for UWM. She is a card-carrying foodie and gardener and believes in the therapeutic aspects of growing, eating, and sharing good food. Bonnie will talk about her projects and experiences in the urban agriculture field, with a special focus on the work she is doing with the Learn-Earn-Grow MKE program that is bringing student-designed healthy salads to Miller Park patrons! After Bonnie’s talk, we will have annual board elections as well as updates from MPD District 1. As always, if you are interested in joining the board or getting more involved in MHNA, please reach out to one of our board members!
